The Creator and Protector of the Universe – Shiv Ji & Family

Shiv Ji & Family Marble Statue is popularly known as one of the prominent gods of Hinduism. Shiv Ji is remembered as the god who holds the crucial position in the Holy Trinity. In addition, Lord Brahma is known as a Creator, Lord Vishnu as Preserver, while Shiv Ji is the destroyer. Together these three deities represent nature’s rules that means everything that is created is destroyed at some end. The birth of these three can’t be proved yet, but many purans speak that God Vishnu and Brahma were born from Shiv Ji. 

How Shiv Ji was born?

Though it is not proven that how Shiv Ji was born, many believe that Shiv Ji is not born out of a human body. He has generated naturally. Shiv Ji was when there is nothing and he will ceaselessly be there when everything is destroyed. Therefore, he was also famously known as the ‘Adi-Dev’ which means ‘Oldest God’ in Hindu mythology.

Some also believe that Lord was found after the spat between Lord Brahma and Vishnu. When they both were busy in an argument suddenly a sparkling pillar emerged. The top and the root of the character are unseen. The pillar asked both the gods to find out the finish and end of the pillar by competing against each other. To reach the answer Lord Brahma changed himself to goose and fly at the top of the pillar to find out the top. On the other hand, Lord Vishnu transformed himself into boar and go deep inside the earth to find out the end. Regretfully, when they failed to reach the valuable answer they found Shiv Ji is waiting for them. Then and there they realized that some powerful energy is ruling the universe and that is known as Shiv Ji & Family. The born of Shiv Ji will always be a mystery. If we talk about his avatars then he became Virabhadra which means destruction while another one is Kaal Bhairava means to protect the Sati Pind.

What does Shiv Ji & Family mean? 

Shiva in Sanskrit means “auspicious one”. The creator, protector, and destroyer Lord Shiv Ji are also known as Shankara, Bholenath, Mahesha, Mahadeva, and Rudra each name speaks about the personality and qualities which he embodies. Shiv Ji married Parvati with whom he has two sons- Ganesha, the elephant-headed god who is known to detach all obstacles while Skanda, is the god of war.

Shiv ji is ‘Adiyogi’ 

Shiv Ji is also known as the first yogi. Shiv Ji was the first deity who portrayed the first meditation that teaches how-to live-in harmony with nature practicing on top of Mount Kailash situated in Kailash. Shiv Ji is also known for his ascetic and celibate nature.

Famously known representation of Shiv Ji is Nataraj, that symbolizes the lord of the dance. Like Nataraj, he dances in a ring of fire. The dance chants the rhythm of the universe and the cycle of creation as well as destruction.

On the top, a demon creature named Apasmara- Purusha is rested which represents Ego, laziness, and evil thoughts. This is just like the snake our ego can bite and harm us. In further, the snake is rounded three times that symbolizes three forms of life that are past, present, and future.

A white bull called Nandi acts as a Vahana of Lord Shiva. Nandi is one of the major follower of Shiv Ji and the epitome of vigour, power, and energetic character.

Shiv Ji is Emptiness

Today’s modern science has proved that everything in this universe comes from nowhere and goes back to nowhere. The concept of this existence and the fundamental quality of the entire universe is a vast emptiness. The galaxies present in it are only minor movements, which are like a splash. Other than that, all is an emptiness, which is known as Shiv Ji & Family. Shiva is the womb out of which everything is born, and he is the oblivion in which everything regenerates. Shiv Ji is Darkness

Shiv Ji is said to be known as a destroyer or transformer. Humanity always praises light, because their resemblance only exists in the light. Otherwise, the only thing that is always there is darkness. Light has a limited existence, because any source of light, whether it is a bulb or the sun, will eventually stop dispatching light. Light is not eternal. It is always a finite possibility because it has a beginning and an end. Darkness has a far greater possibility than light. Nothing needs to burn in darkness, darkness always remains. Darkness is eternal. Darkness is everywhere. It is the only thing that pervades everywhere.
